Local volunteers from two Argyll communities have won recognition in Keep Scotland Beautiful’s ‘2021 Beautiful Scotland awards’.
The achievements of Inspiring Inellan, which won a gold certificate in the judged category and Scenic Sandbank, which won a silver certificate, also won recognition in the Scottish Parliament, where Highlands and Islands MSP Donald Cameron lodged a motion highlighting their success.
Donald said: “It is always inspiring to see volunteers coming together to make their communities more attractive. That sense of local pride is so important and I’m delighted that these two Argyll communities have had their efforts recognised by Keep Scotland Beautiful.”
