Highlands and Islands Regional MSP Donald Cameron has welcomed the announcement that the UHI Centre for Health Science in Inverness is to be used as a COVID-19 vaccination hub for NHS workers.

The Highlands and Islands MSP said: “Congratulations to the team at the Centre for Health Science for turning round so quickly the enquiry about its use as a hub.

“It is very encouraging to see locally-based organisations  like UHI working with NHS Highland to ensure that the vaccination programme goes ahead as smoothly and speedily as possible.”
