Lottery funding for Argyll and Bute projects welcomed by MSP

Highlands and Islands Regional MSP Donald Cameron has given a warm welcome to an announcement that seven groups in Argyll and Bute have secured a total of £123,079 of funding from the National Lottery Community Fund.

Group that secured funding include; Dunoon Men's Shed, Mull Native Woodlands Group and Tarbert Afterschool Care, among others.

Donald Cameron MSP said: “It’s great to see this funding going direct to such a range of worthy projects right across Argyll and Bute.

“The area has a very strong track record of community activity and it is encouraging to see this reflected in the awards that have been announced.

“My congratulations go to everyone involved in developing the proposals and submitting the applications which, I know, represents a considerable commitment of time and effort.”
