Highlands and Islands Regional MSP Donald Cameron has joined calls to the Scottish Government for a long-term, permanent solution to the A83 Rest and Be Thankful.
A letter produced by Argyll and Bute Council, which has been signed by politicians from all political parties across Argyll and Bute, has called on the Scottish Government to engage on the issue, and to agree to a timetable for delivery.
The letter was sent to the First Minister, and the Cabinet Secretary for Transport, Infrastructure and Connectivity.
Donald Cameron MSP said:
“We need a firm commitment including a timeline and dates by which actions will be taken.
“Ministers need to understand that our communities must have confidence that their interests are being taken seriously.
“Enough is enough for the people of Argyll and Bute.”
